Intersecting both the man and the memoir, I felt there was a huge lack of humility on his part. A lot of the book is rather hard to appreciate without at least oh a year of physics but there are also plenty of interesting anecdotes about the Manhattan project, the creation of the H-bomb and hholes academic brouhahas from someone on the inside.
He tries Wuantum, Wheeler’s memoir isn’t bad, but you will need a solid background in the history of physics to really appreciate it.
